Graduated in Fine Arts at Complutense University of Madrid. 1988

Diploma in Graphic Design at CICE School. Madrid. 2000

Master in "Research in Art and Creation" at Complutense University of Madrid. 2012

María has spent long periods of time in Berlin, New York, Barcelona and currently resides in Madrid.

During her professional career María has exhibited her art in Spain, Europe and South America.

Her current project, D+D+D  (Diversity)+(Fun)+(personal Development), is based in Madrid. She shares the space with people of  diverse personal and professional profiles. People that are interested in Art as a means of cognitive development and personal creative growth.

What is the aim of our project?

  • We offer a new way of connecting our inner world with the outer world through artistic communication.

  • With our method, we accompany our alumni and followers from childhood, in the development of their creativity and will endow them with the skills to pursue and achieve a full life and enjoy physical, mental, and social well-being. Consequently to have the resources for an economic wellness.

Who is this project for?

  • Our ways of teaching and working allows us to be able to strengthen intergenerational ties and opening up new perspectives. Grandparents participate with their grandchildren, teachers with their students, doctors with their patients, as well as people with dependencies with their carers, or workers with retired people… Our method goes beyond the boundaries between all ages and activities

Where is our workshop?

  • We are located in Majadahonda town centre. Come and visit our Art Centre for Diversity, Fun and personal Development.

Why our method is so innovative and should be a must?

  • Our world is segmented. We live in a frenzy. Our lives elapse in fast paced environments where changes occur swiftly, without having enough time or tools to adapt to the transformations. It seems as if we do not have the time and means to get to know ourselves and discover the new me. We lack the ability to transcend our small world. And ... what is more universal and highly intimate than artistic expression?

  • Because we humans are not islands, and born to explore and create by drawing wide and diverse geographies.

  • Because we need to share our dreams and emotions. Because we all have something to say. Because no one should feel excluded from the community. Because we all matter a lot in this world.

  • We would love to meet you and share what makes you be in a state of flow. We will help you to transform your life into a fun and meaningful one, and as a consequence to learn.

What our Project offers?

  • Daily classes and teaching. Our program offers workshops for adults and children: drawing, oil painting, watercolours, sculpture, restoration and techniques for cleaning works of art.

  • Summer camps, including trips to the field for outdoor painting

  • We exhibit and sell our works.

  • We firmly believe that within each person there is an immense amount of innovative potential waiting to be unleashed. Through our talks and conferences on art and culture, we share our experiences and knowledge with multi-skilled people.

  • We organise visits to Museums and exhibitions. We are in motion!
